What I offer 

I’m an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist who provides a safe, supportive space for people to explore what’s going on in their lives and how they’re feeling. I work with clients of all ages.

My approach is warm, flexible, and collaborative. I draw on a range of therapeutic models including person-centred and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) to tailor sessions to each individual’s needs. Whether you're struggling with anxiety/stress, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, depression, loss/grief, change, or simply feeling stuck, I’ll work with you to find clarity, build resilience, and move forward.

I also bring the following:

  • I have a passion for supporting young adults as they navigate the challenges of developing independence, relationships, identity, and mental health.

  • Experience in workplace mediation and conflict resolution, helping individuals to improve communication, manage stress, and find healthier working environments.

  • I have an interest in supporting new mums, informed both by my professional work and my own lived experience. Adjusting to motherhood can be overwhelming, and I offer a compassionate space to explore identity shifts, emotional wellbeing, and the realities of this transition.

  • My practice is fully inclusive, and everyone is welcome. I have experience working with people from a wide range of backgrounds and with members of the LGBTQI+ community, and I’m committed to providing a space where you can show up exactly as you are.

What to expect

We will start with an initial chat (free 20 minute consultation) to:

  • Find out a little bit about you and what you are looking for from counselling

  • For me to explain more about the sessions, how I work and answer any questions that you have

  • To check if there is a good fit in terms of your needs and the rapport between us

 

If we are going to proceed with counselling sessions, I will provide you with a contract and key information in advance of your first session. We will go over some of that at the start of the first session and beyond it will be about me being there to listen and help you work through the things that you are finding difficult. We will talk through whatever is on your mind and explore options and tools to help you cope with things.
